Position Summary: 
Reporting to the management team of physical therapy, Hospital Assistant III is responsible for assisting in carrying out established plans of care, mobility, and exercise programs for all ages of patients referred to in an assigned area.  Duties also include routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment, assisting with light clerical duties and any activities necessary for the smooth operation of the department as assigned by supervisor.
 
 
Salary Range: 
 
Hourly Rate  Minimum   $25.35           Midpoint      $28.45             Maximum $31.54
 
Required Qualifications:
  
BLS certification upon hire
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
 
 
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of basic medical terminology
Must possess the skill, knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Demonstrated experience using MS Office
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Must possess knowledge and practice of infectious control techniques
Patient care experience working in Rehabilitation Therapy or in the acute care setting preferred
