Minimum Position Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in public health, psychology, sociology, education, or related field from an accredited institution of higher education and two (2) years of proven experience developing online curriculum to diverse audiences and website management. Relevant experience may substitute for required education.
Special Conditions Special consideration will be given to applicants with experience with state and federal contract management, procurement and compliance knowledge and those with previous experience with conducting community-based research in the U.S. South.
The department is especially interested in candidates with:
Doctoral degree in public health or related field from an accredited college or university with specialization in social science or urban health
This is a grant-funded position contingent upon funding availablity.
First consideration to be given to current University of Memphis employees.
Work Schedule Monday – Friday
8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
May need to work/travel beyond normal work schedule.

Working Conditions While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. Duties & Responsibilities Organizes, prioritizes, and tracks the daily operations and developmental progress of multiple research projects; Maintains all files, procedure manuals and related data; Coordinates all scientific study operations; Works closely with scientists and study staff;Assists with reports, manuscript development, writing and revision; Executes project management processes and methodologies to ensure timely delivery; Prepares, manages and submits all related local IRB submissions and CDC protocols.
