  • Offer expert consultancy in RCA and FMEA, mainly in the field of material science
  • Offer expert consultancy in the field of Material Compliance, mainly targeting its improvement and replacement
  • Offer on demand project participation in the development of new applications of advanced materials
  • Deliver on demand support for ANDRITZ quality engineers and product managers in issuing Technical Delivery Rules (TDR) and dealing with non-conformities
  • Become the ANDRITZ development pool of high potential material ccience experts and support placing these experts in line functions
  • Implement and grow a Technology Consultancy Platform and reach a financial break-even in selling top level expert know-how at a highly competitive price to the group
  • Represent ANDRITZ at International Expert Forums
  • Constantly develop new Expert Portfolio Offers in the field of simulation (static& dynamic loads, destructive and non-destructive material testing, Casting, CFD,…) in line with business-needs.
  • Internal marketing of the R&D services consultancy portfolio
  • Supporting R&D project managers in material selection and material processing issues
  • Performing on demand failure analysis
  • Performing continuous improvement projects, root cause analysis and track action plans that were derived from these activities
  • Constantly grow the training program for Andritz employees concerning materials and related topics
  • Constantly increase the know-how of your team members via individual training programs
  • Screen the internal and external market to identify high potential experts, train them and eventually place them in a line function

Your Profile

  • MSc or PhD in Material Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with additional education in material engineering and/or welding technology
  • Profound working experience in the field of selection, testing and processing of materials
  • Track record in implementing and promoting innovative developments
  • Good German and English language skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial, hands-on mentality and open mindset
  • Talent to develop a business and people
  • Proven capability to work in multi-disciplinary groups
  • Ready to travel up to 30% of your working time

In Austria we are legally obliged to announce at least a gross monthly salary of € 4.805,08 for this position.
