Head of Operations and Engagement – SPRITE+

We are seeking to appoint a Head of Operations and Engagement to SPRITE+, the Security, Privacy, Identity, and Trust Engagement NetworkPlus, funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council. 

The Head of Operations and Engagement role requires an experienced and dynamic individual, with experience of project and operational management of large-scale collaborative networks and research projects.  The successful candidate will have excellent organisational, planning, and communication skills to lead all operational aspects of SPRITE+ activities, ensuring that the Network delivers its objectives. They will lead a small professional services team (including at least two administrative colleagues from University of Manchester and a Business Intelligence and Engagement Manager based at Imperial College London) and will work closely with colleagues at all levels across the University of Manchester and beyond to ensure efficient delivery of Network objectives.

Working alongside the Director of SPRITE+, the Head of Operations and Engagement will play a leading role in the strategic development of the NetworkPlus, scoping and delivering new activities, which include a Global Scholars Fellowship programme, Project Partner engagement awards, and a student engagement programme.
