The PositionThe Head of Implementation Services will be a critical part of the office of the CTO and will oversee and head the Implementation teams on Arkalytics. They will provide strategic leadership and management on Arkalytics Implementations to obtain maximum performance gains for the platform. They will work closely with the CTO and other department heads to ensure that Arkalytics Implementations run optimally. This position requires a balance of leadership, technical, data and analytical expertise and is a critical position between the implementation and support services of Arkalytics forming a bridge between the CTO, PO, Head of Support, Technical teams (Analysts, Engineers and Data Scientists) and the Customer Success Team. This is a client facing role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and architect development and implementation of the Arkalytics platform offerings
  • Develop, test and review code (Python, SQL) when needed
  • Provide technical and architectural design/guidance to the team following engineering best practices for Data Management
  • Establish quality performance metrics to drive and measure continual improvement of employees and product performance
  • Ensure Arkalytics Implementations are streamlined, standardized (repeatable), scalable and fully optimized
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align technical strategies with business goals
  • Driving continuous improvement in engineering and analytical processes, tools, and technologies to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Respond to RFPs (Request for proposals) in the role of a Solution Architect
  • Attend Sales calls and field all technical questions of prospective customers
  • In close partnership with Sales, develop in-depth knowledge of client needs and proactively provide best in class solutions
  • Be involved in contract reviews
  • Drive customer experience by ensuring quality is measured and initiatives are created to maximize Net Promoter Score
  • Manage teams, provide coaching, mentoring, and feedback to team members to maximize productivity and quality of service
  • Ensure technologies are used efficiently, profitably and securely
  • Research and evaluate leading market solutions and technologies to enhance operational effectiveness and reduce costs
  • Facilitate onboarding of clients efficiently, continuing to focus on reducing implementation cycle time, simplifying processes and making it easier for clients to onboard and adopt Arkalytics
  • Review and remediate platform drifts introduced by Implementations
  • Establish effective resource planning, management and allocation
  • Set goals and KPIs to track for team performance and report to CTO on a bi-weekly basis
  • Assume leadership of an existing team of project managers and technical analysts
  • Develop client implementation guides, service descriptions and best practice documentation for clients and internal teams to use during the implementation process and for post-implementation support
  • Drive detailed estimates, work breakdowns, and plans through project management systems and processes
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years in a similar role or corporate managerial experience, leading cross-functional IT teams consisting of developing IT strategies, development and architecture
  • Demonstrated leadership of a team of IT professionals (engineers, analysts)
  • Strong knowledge of agile principles and processes
  • Experience with Python and SQL
  • Experience with any one database such as Snowflake, Databricks, SQLServer, Oracle
  • Experience working on data management projects (data warehousing, BI, analytics)
  • Experience with AWS and services such as Containers (Fargate), Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, EC2, ECS etc is preferred
  • Experience with Tableau, PowerBI is nice to have
  • Extensive Data warehousing skills particularly in Data mapping, ETL and Data modeling required
  • Excellent ability to listen, capture and elicit business requirements and translate to technical specifications
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work and conflicting priorities
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and implement change
  • Demonstrated relationship skills – works seamlessly externally (customers) and internally (sales and customer success)

Preferred Experience

  • Certified AWS Cloud practitioner, Developer or Solutions Architect
  • Experience developing SAAS products
  • Financial services experience (Credit Unions or Banks)
  • Experience with Slack, Jira, Trello, Confluence
  • Certified Scrum or PMP certification (nice to have)
