As Head of Department, you will be responsible for the further development of the BON platform and the financial health application FIT+. Another part of your department is the UX team for all (other) advisor and back-office applications for Erste Bank and Sparkassen in Austria. Together with this team you will ensure a consistent look and feel with similar building blocks to create the same user experience for all branch and back-office related applications.Your Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Establish and develop BON as a platform: Implementing software development standards to ensure efficiency and scalability of our systems.
  • Enhance FIT+: Further development to support one of our strategic objectives – Financial Health for our customers.
  • UX for branch and back-office applications: Your team is the backbone, has the knowledge and is the driver of a common UX for applications for internal customers.
  • Managing a diverse team of 20+ people: You encourage your team to work in a self organised way.
  • Communication and stakeholder management: Communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

You Check These Boxes

  • You have at least 5 years’ experience in a senior leadership role as an Architect, Senior Technology or Development Lead, Delivery Manager or Agile Coach, or a similar role.
  • You have a proven track record in implementing enterprise standard architectures and software development standards.
  • You are multilingual: Business and IT as well as German and English, all fluently.
  • You empower your team by promoting team ownership and creating a framework where teams have autonomy and feel accountable for their results.
  • You will encourage high performance and development within your team by enabling talent to grow.
  • You use your excellent communication, persuasion and presentation skills to build trust with your internal stakeholders.
  • You believe in change: Your confidence is based on your in-depth knowledge and experience.
