In collaboration with the Executive Dean and other key Faculty leaders, you will be responsible for the overall management of the Canberra Law School, including academic outcomes and engaging and leading a team of specialist academics and support staff.

You will be known for your ability to inspire and engage with people at all levels, as well as building organisational capacity to deliver quality outcomes, increasing and enhancing teaching, research, innovation and engagement strategies.

Your outward looking capacity will ensure the School continues to develop and build key partnerships with external organisations and ensure it continues to be recognised on the local, national and international arena.

To be successful, you will be a proven leader within the legal profession either within academic, government or an industry sector. You will be known for your deep discipline expertise along with your ability to lead people and engage and build partnerships with key stakeholders. Qualifications in Law are essential and a PhD in Law or a cognate discipline is desirable, along with a deep understanding of the accreditation requirements for law programs in Australia.
