- As Head of Accounting (m/f/d), you will lead a five-person accounting team in the medium term
- You are the contact person for the clarification of complex issues in day-to-day operations
- You prepare and review the monthly and annual financial statements of several companies in accordance with the Austrian Commercial Code (UGB)
- You are jointly responsible for the preparation of the consolidated financial statements and the consolidation according to IFRS
- You are responsible for the implementation and further development of financial processes, the identification of automation potential and the promotion of digitalization in accounting
- Intercompany reconciliations and supporting the controlling department and the CFO in various analyses and reporting are part of your daily tasks
- Together with your team, you are responsible for the payment transactions of domestic and foreign companies
- You coordinate the audit of the individual financial statements and the consolidated financial statements
- You are the contact person for external stakeholders (in particular tax advisors, authorities)
Strengths & required qualifications:
- You have a completed business education with Matura, professional training as an accountant and many years of relevant professional experience, or a degree in economics (with a focus on accounting) with several years of practical experience in the accounting department of an international corporation (or one of the Big 6 consulting firms).
- You enjoy leading a team and taking on responsibility – management experience is a prerequisite
- You have excellent accounting skills and theoretical and practical knowledge of IFRS is expected
- You are fluent in German and English, both spoken and written
- You are a strong team player who enjoys working in a modern, international and fast-paced environment
- You bring bigh IT affinity and excellent Excel skills required, BMD NTCS or Netsuite (Oracle) knowledge desirable
- You have a pleasant demeanor and a sense of responsibility, coupled with a high degree of dynamism and a hands-on mentality

The minimum salary for this position starts at EUR 90.000 gross per year on a full time basis.
