About this scholarship

This scholarship is linked to a broader program of work conducted in relation to an Australian Research Council grant focusing on criminal justice impacts on two prospective cohorts of people who use drugs: SuperMIX, Australia’s largest cohort study of people who inject drugs and VMAX, a cohort study of people who primarily smoke methamphetamine. The successful applicant will work with a team to investigate how arrest and imprisonment relates to health and social outcomes of cohort members including recidivism. Findings will help inform debates about drug decriminalisation.
