Department Summary | This position is grant funded through September 30, 2027, contingent on annual grant funding by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration (SAMHSA). Continuation of the position beyond that date is contingent upon available funding. |
Position Summary | This grant is focused to provide Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training to a large audience of individuals so that they can recognize the signs and symptoms of mental illness and identify resources available in the community. The Graduate Student Assistant, under the direct supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI), will be responsible for providing support to the PI and Co-PI’s research program, including the day-to-day operations of the project and other relevant tasks.
