Remuneration: $84,740 – $91,467 pa HEW Level 06 (plus 17% employer superannuation)

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity in the Monash Graduate Research Office (MGRO) for an exceptional Programs and Development Officer to join us in supporting a wide range of programs and initiatives. This is an exciting role where no two days will be the same as you will have the opportunity to work on a multitude of activities in support of the Program and Development Team. This position will see you:

  • Plan and coordinate the effective delivery and reporting of Graduate Research course requirements including professional development to Graduate Research Students
  • Support student experiences in the Monash Doctoral Program including industry engagement
  • Support supervision matters including professional development and accreditation.
  • Performing a range of administrative tasks to support graduate research including scheduling, project coordination, report creation and event planning and promotion

To be successfully considered for this role, you will demonstrate exceptional experience as an Administrator within a busy environment. You will have the ability to adapt to new situations and changing demands on a regular basis and enjoy having a broad range of activities to work on and have the ability to manage competing priorities with tight deadlines in a positive and timely manner. You will be a strong communicator and have the ability to tailor your communication to suit the requirements and needs of your target audience. You will have highly developed computer literacy and analytic skills with the capacity to learn new software and systems.
