Job Description

Assist Financial Management Services, Office of Budget with daily operations.

Responsibilities:

  • The Graduate Assistant – Non-Teaching will assist with forecast, research and trend analysis.

  • Assist in financial modeling; ERP query management; report writing related to budget preparation and submission.

  • Tracking expenditures and/or revenues.

  • Performing post-audit and other reviews of actual expenditures and/or revenues.

  • Input data such as interdepartmental orders.

  • File documents and proof spreadsheets.

  • Assist the Budget Department on daily, monthly, and yearly tasks.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field.

  • Must be enrolled as a full-time graduate student at Prairie View A&M University. (Minimum of 9 credit hours during the regular fall and spring semesters and 6 semester credit hours for the summer semester).

  • Must be in good academic standing.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to keep confidential information private.
