The School wishes to appoint a highly motivated individual to join our enthusiastic and committed Work-based Learning Team.

 

The post holder will work across the primary care community of the North West to ensure that Medical Students and Physician Associate Students are placed in appropriate GP and community based educational environments. This will include ensuring the placement providers are capable educationally and organisationally to train our students and that on-going quality assurance and support of providers is enabled.

 

They will work with the UCLan Medical School Team and relevant hospital-based educational teams and will undertake a key role in ensuring integration between the primary and secondary care elements of the curriculum.

 

Applicants will have substantial experience of working as a medical practitioner in a healthcare setting and will have membership of the GMC. Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills are essential.
