This is a full-time position that works closely with criminal justice agencies and Commission-certified training schools to ensure criminal justice officers and instructors are hired and certified appropriately. Additionally, this position is responsible for auditing Commission-certified training schools’ administration of Commission-approved training courses and expenditures from the Criminal Justice Standards and Training Trust Fund. This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills. This position requires the ability to analyze and audit physical and electronic files as well as the ability to work independently and as a member of a team. The position requires extensive day travel and periodic overnight travel. The position includes an assigned state vehicle for business use.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Specific duties include:

Degrees must be from an accredited college or university as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and three years of experience in planning, research and analysis, evaluation, or administrative work; or
Note: 30 semester hours, or equivalent, of coursework from an accredited college or university is equivalent to one year of experience.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
