Shift Monday – Friday, Day Shift; between 7:30a – 5:30p
*shift is negotiable upon hire
Job Summary The Department of Internal Medicine is seeking a Graduate Medical Education (GME) Program Coordinator, to manage the daily administrative activities of the residency program as outlined in the ACGME Institutional, Common Program and Specialty Program Guidelines for Graduate Medical Education.
This position will work under the direct supervision of the specialty Program Director and/or GME Education Specialist, and also work in consultation and regular collaboration with the DIO or their designee. In addition, the selected candidate will be responsible for the direct oversight of the administrative and professional responsibilities for all the program residents-in-training on a daily basis.
The Program Coordinator will also serve as the primary liaison between the Residency Program Director, chief residents, residents, program faculty, GME Office and affiliated teaching sites concerning residency program matters.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Excellent written and oral communication; organization; attention to detail; able to work with all levels of personnel. MS: Excel, Power Point, Word, Publisher, Outlook.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No
Preferred Education/Experience Master’s preferred. Additional work experience in Medical Education and residency program coordination and event planning and knowledge of ACGME and GME regulations preferred.
