Global Partnerships Manager

(HEO8) $102,266 to $114,731 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

Continuing, full-time opportunity available immediately.

The Global Partnerships Manager is responsible for leading the University’s engagement efforts across countries, regions and partners, in close collaboration with a range of internal and external stakeholders. The Global Partnership Manager strengthens existing and identifies and develops new international partnerships, including comprehensive research and education collaborations, articulation and pipeline partnerships, sponsor opportunities, and transnational education (TNE) initiatives aligned with the University’s strategic ambitions.

The Global Partnerships Manager will actively contribute to the continued development and implementation of the University’s global strategy, assisting with the management of international projects and will play a key role in supporting relationships with key internal, external and international stakeholders. The Manager will identify and deliver on opportunities to build the University’s profile in key countries and regions. This role will liaise closely with key internal constituents to ensure new opportunities are aligned and sustainable both financially and from a quality perspective to meet emerging market demand.

To be successful you will need:

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and secure new business opportunities, with a particulate focus on international relationships, that deliver sustainable, positive outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating strategies and high impact plans in collaboration with diverse internal and external stakeholders, and facilitating ongoing monitoring of the strategy to ensure achievement of stated goals.
  • Project management experience in a complex, dynamic, high-volume operating environment with close attention to detail and evidence of outcomes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation and analytical skills, using relevant information, independent judgement and innovative thinking.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, developing and maintaining relationships, both internal and external to the organisation to leverage strategic relationships and achieve targets.
