You are part of the Customs & Trade team, a global function that ensures lululemon’s products

move across borders compliantly and efficiently while driving meaningful cost recovery through

programs like drawback and First Sale. You work at the intersection of trade compliance, data, and finance—partnering with Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, and external advisors to translate complex customs requirements into scalable programs that protect margin and support global growth.

a day in the life

Global Drawback Strategy & Program Management

  • Develop and expand lululemon’s global drawback capabilities, including defining regional implementation strategy, governance models, and prioritization based on financial impact and operational feasibility.
  • Own the global drawback roadmap, identifying new opportunities to extend drawback eligibility across regions and product flows while ensuring compliance with local customs regulations.
  • Consolidate all regional drawback programs into a single quarterly global drawback forecast, providing visibility to Trade and Finance leadership.
  • Operational Execution & Compliance
  • Deliver all required documentation, data, and contextual support to external advisory partners for the filing of U.S. drawback claims.
  • Manage large‑scale data sets related to export transfers, end‑of‑life product movements, and inventory reconciliations, including issue resolution, auditability, and record retention.
  • Oversee and support the internal Canadian drawback system, producing compliant support documentation and reports for CBSA filings, including manual adjustments where required.
  • Engage in international drawback processes and provide clear, concise summaries of program status, risks, and recoveries to global trade leadership.
  • First Sale Program Support
  • Support the onboarding of new vendors into lululemon’s First Sale program, including process education, documentation requirements, and operational readiness.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and external partners to ensure First Sale structures are compliant, defensible, and aligned with customs valuation rules.
  • Monitor First Sale margin impacts and maintain ongoing vendor compliance across regions.
  • Cross‑Functional & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Partner closely with cross‑functional teams (including MP&A, Finance, Legal, and Supply Chain) to maintain visibility into inventory movements and intercompany transfers that impact drawback eligibility.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external advisors and customs authorities to support program execution and issue resolution.
  • Provide leadership with actionable insights and forward‑looking forecasts to support budgeting, accruals, and strategic decision‑making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related field, or equivalent professional certifications/designations in customs and trade compliance.
  • 5 years of experience in Logistics, Import/Export, Customs, or Trade Compliance.
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. CBP drawback rules and regulations.
  • Strong working knowledge of CBSA drawback rules and regulations.
  • Experience with inventory management systems and inventory movement types.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex data sets and translate them into compliant, actionable outcomes

compensation and benefits package

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $112,000 – $147,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
