General Labourer/ Production Worker in Edmonton, Alberta

Working with an extensive client base, Aerotek is searching for General Production Laborers for a large company in North-West Edmonton, AB!

Qualifications:

Will be involved in assisting a machine operator used in extrusion welding. No heavy lifting as they mostly looking for quality defects but will need to lift up to 20lbs to load the machine for product to be added. Will also need to assist in directing forklift operators to place and pick up product. They will also assist in cutting and loading the material and attaching labels onto finished product. Need to be able to stand for long periods of time.

Description:

1+ years production or warehousing experience.

Able to stand on their feet for extended periods of time.

Able to lift 20+lbs repetitively.

Reliable transportation (transit is not always accessible based of the shift schedules).

Additional Skills (Nice to have):

Experience in the plastics manufacturing industry.

Machine operation experience.

Forklift experience.

Shift:

3on/4off, 4on/3off

8am-8pm OR 8pm-8am (will likely rotate between day/nights every few weeks or so).

OT is after 80.5 hours in a week period.

Pay Rate: $22.55/hr

This is a contract position — Approximately 3 months, could go longer depending on business needs
