Description
You will be assigned as integrated support to the Galileo G2 Ground Segment Management Service (NAV-NGS) in the Galileo Ground Segment Management Office, Directorate of the Galileo Programme and Navigation-related Activities.
Training and familiarisation with the parent Department’s mandate, processes and procedures will be provided at the start of this assignment.
The Galileo Second Generation (G2G) Ground Segment Agile Change Agent supports the procurement and development of the next generation of Ground Segment for Galileo. The G2G Ground Segment will modernise the existing infrastructure and support the enhancement of navigation services through the integration of next-generation Galileo satellites (G2S). The Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) will be used for the Ground Segment development.
Duties
Reporting to the Head of the Galileo G2 Ground Segment Management Service, the Agile Change Agent will establish a LACE (Lean-Agile Centre of Excellence), working with key managers and leaders within the Galileo Project Team to facilitate a smooth transition to adopting the Scale Agile Framework for the G2G Ground Segment development.

A master’s degree in information technology, electrical engineering is required.
Additional requirements
Experience in space technology, in particular satellite navigation, will be considered an advantage.
Experience and understanding of the following technologies and engineering practices will be considered an advantage: MBSE, PaaS, virtualisation, IaaS, SOA, microservices, Confluence, Kafka, Kanban.
