  • Base Salary $79K + 17% superannuation

About the opportunity

We are excited to present an opportunity for an experienced Front of House Supervisor, to join the Chau Chak Wing Museum team, overseeing the Museum’s FOH operations including security, visitor services and Museum shop. Looking after Thursday evenings and weekend openings, this position oversees a team of front of house staff (Gallery Concierge and Shop Assistants) who are crucial for the day-to-day operations of the Chau Chak Wing Museum.

The Front of House Supervisor is responsible for setting the tone of visitor/user service throughout the Museum. The position will manage support services for all front of house activities including Museum events, school programs, group tours and museum shop operations.

About you

  • demonstrates experience in leading front of house operations for a museum, gallery, or other cultural institution
  • outstanding customer service skills
  • effective communicator across all stakeholder levels
  • experience in facilities management including security, building condition, cleanliness, and emergency procedures.

Australian Temporary Residents currently employed at the University of Sydney may be considered for a fixed term contract for the length of their visa, depending on the requirements of the hiring area and the position.
