Position Summary

The FRIB Project Coordinator will be responsible to support the project team preparation for reviews, conferences, events, visitor and committee requirements and many other project support tasks.    

Assigned Scope

Supports the Executive Administrative Assistant Group in the FRIB Business Support Organization Division.

Major Duties/Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordination of customer reviews, conferences and other project related meetings and organize and maintain records pertaining to the events [30%]
  • Travel processing and administration [30%]
  • Collect, consolidate and report on project information [10%]
  • Support on-time delivery of monitoring of project information associated with schedule, cost, estimating, planning and control [10%]
  • Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures [10%]
  • Provide general administrative support [5%]
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification. [5%]

  • Proven problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high quality support to the team
  • Ability to perform well under pressure with multiple tasks simultaneously with exemplary quality
  • Expert-level knowledge of customer relations and service skills
  • Excellent communication skills to communicate effectively and credibly, both verbally and in writing with all audiences.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites.

Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills

A bachelor’s degree in business or other related field; one to three years of experience providing coordinator or analyst support to project or engineering teams in a design or development environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
