I.K. Hofmann Staffing Services is currently recruiting for a Flight Optimizer for a top airline in the Atlanta Airport Area. The Flight Optimizer is responsible for the evaluation if individual bookings under operational and economic conditions. He/she makes individual shipment decisions to optimize the onload with specifications given by the Revenue Manager. In case of individual booking requests the Flight Optimizer assists and gives potential alternatives to sales colleagues.He/she must answer bookings queues in a timely manner.The Flight Optimizer prepares the capacity of single flight events for the flight transfers to the load planning department.General Responsibilities:Evaluates individual booking queues under consideration of operational economic and quality specifications.Where required calculates and adjusts the gross volume for bookingsReacts appropriately to capacity changesBlocks space and weigh for certain bookingsOptimizes individual flights under observance of C2K regulationsCompletes and transfers flights load planning department under consideration of shipment ranking in case of planned or unplanned overbooking.

Flags shipments accepted to compensate potential no shows as “CAD”Improves the load factor by accepting freight onto earlier flightsWhere required contacts the Revenue Manager to adjust the overbooking parameters.Identifies and communicates process barriers within RM processes to his regional process manager.Assists in removal of barriers within his/her work environment.Performs all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors.Qualifications / experience:HS Diploma required; college degree desirable but not required.Professional experience in logistics highly desired.Pay range $20-$25/hr. based upon experience#AVAIND#AVACBContact the recruiter directly!Haviva MarshallOnsite ManagerDirect Cell: (678) 682- 4457Email: Haviva.Marshall@hofmannusa.com
