Job Description
Fostering the health and wellbeing of our guests and colleagues is an integral part of our culture. Whether our guests are swimming, canoeing, hiking, or using the fitness centre, the thoughtful attention you provide will make them feel welcome and valued.
Qualifications
What you will be doing:
Provide health, fitness & wellness leadership to guests and colleagues
Lead safe and effective group fitness classes, workshops and outdoor programs
Ensure the facility is in peak condition at all times: operations, cleaning and sanitization of all equipment, supplies well stocked
Assist guests with any questions or concerns they have whilst using the facility
Become versed in all aspects of the Health Club’s operations i.e. telephone, guest relations, Resort Activities Services (Kid’s Camp, Heritage Guides, etc.) and retail sales
Participate actively in all scheduled meetings, emergency drills, training sessions and community events promoting the facility
Maintain a professional image and speaking positively on behalf of the facility
Assist with promotional activities and initiatives
Ensure that Resort Activities maintains a positive relationship with all departments in the hotel
Ensure guest satisfaction at all times by reinforcing that safety and service is always our priority
Welcome guests to the Health Club and ensure they have a safe and enjoyable experience
Ensure the Health Club area is clean and well maintained with adequate supplies in pool area and change rooms
Instruct guests in use of equipment and ensure safety regulations are adhered to in fitness/pool areas
Support and assist the Conference Services team with special events as required
Ensure a clean and safe working environment, and actively participate in health and safety initiatives
Adhere to all hotel environmental policies and initiatives
Carry out any other tasks as assigned
