- Description
- Duties include Root River Spawning Facility operation, State Fair & Portable aquarium equipment and displays, trout stream habitat, distribution of all the Coldwater and warm/cool water fish from hatcheries to waters in the South District. Collecting fish, eggs, and data along with assisting on various projects as needed. Some heavy equipment operation. Duel Limited Term appointment to work 40 hours per week year round.
- Qualifications
- Root River Trout and Salmon Spawning Facility operation
Portable aquarium equipment operation
Habitat projects and heavy equipment operation.
Fish Distribution
Fish Propagation/Rearing
Willingness to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
This position requires operation of trucks, pumps, and hand tools.
