Job Description
The Fiscal Coordinator will work under the direction of the Associate Manager of Business Operations to provide procurement/payroll management and analytical support of financial data to operational units within the College. This role ensures adherence to established internal controls for University policies and procedures, as well as College and Department practices.
The Fiscal Coordinator will be responsible for the following: executing standard and ad hoc financial reports via various University databases, including Workday, Reporting Analytics Environment (RAE), Tableau, SIS, and Research databases; summarizing data and developing management style reports; Workday compliance checks; assisting with and initiating procurement and payroll transactions; reconciling procurement and payroll expenditures monthly; serving as a Procurement card (PCard) manager for the College. The Fiscal Coordinator serves as a liaison between internal/external customers of the college, and the University Procurement Shared Services Center (PSSC). The Fiscal Coordinator will have significant contact with guests, students, staff, faculty, and faculty administrators, and is expected to provide the highest level of customer service. Serves as a back up to other EHE Fiscal Coordinators in the College.
Minimum Education Required: Bachelor’s Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a Major in accounting or business administration Required Qualifications
Required Experience: Attention to detail, financial analytical skills, excellent customer service, and problem-solving experience required. Considerable accounting experience is required. Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Pivot Tables
Desired Experience: Business experience in an administrative capacity and knowledge of OSU accounting systems and policies highly desired.
