Job Summary Job Summary Freshwater Elementary School is seeking an excellent candidate for a First Grade Teaching position. We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about teaching and is willing to work as a team with an incredible staff on a beautiful campus. The successful candidate will actively engage students in the learning process, nurturing analytical thinking and a life-long love of learning. The ideal candidate will also have a demonstrated interest in working collaboratively with colleagues, educational technology, and a thorough understanding of the Common Core Standards in both Mathematics and English Language Arts. Requirements / Qualifications

Qualifications: CA Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential for a self-contained classroom. Cross-cultural, language, & academic development emphasis. (CLAD certified) Knowledge of current curriculum offerings and computer technology required. The successful candidates will be required to pass a fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and show proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
