| Vaccination Requirement |
The University of Nebraska Medicine Center (UNMC) requires COVID-19 vaccinations for all students, staff, and faculty. All employees must be fully vaccinated unless they have requested and been approved for an exemption based on a recognized medical reason, a sincerely held religious belief, or a pre-approved, 100% remote work agreement. Fully vaccinated means having received one dose of a single dose COVID-19 vaccine (Johnson & Johnson) or both doses of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccination series (Moderna and Pfizer). As a prospective and/or a new employee at UNMC, you will be/are required to comply with the UNMC’s vaccination protocol. Non-faculty new hires, rehires and transfers will have five (5) days from the date of hire to provide proof of partial or full vaccination or to request a medical or religious exemption. Non-faculty new hires, rehires and transfers with proof of partial vaccination may have up to thirty-five (35) days from the hire date to be in full compliance with this policy. Non-faculty new hires, rehires and transfers who receive a denial of a request for medical or religious exemption will be given five (5) business days from exemption denial notification date to provide proof of compliance with this policy. Non-faculty new hires, rehires and transfers with no approved exemption who fail to comply with this policy will be separated. |

| Position Summary | Participate as a team member in a wide variety of analyses and projects with the goal of operational efficiencies and improved compliance. The incumbent is responsible for: analysis of financial data including both budget and revenue/expenditure data; reviewing and documenting processes, procedures and systems; extracting, organizing, and with supervision, analyzing financial data from various databases; creating routine reports; assisting with special reports and analyses; performing cost allocation calculations, and meeting with a variety of on-campus administrators/customers to determine the cause of variances and explore possible solutions. |

| Required Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: | 1. Familiarity with understanding accounting, budgeting and operation analysis principles and practices; and the ability to communicate and work effectively with a wide variety of campus users of financial and budget information. 2. Ability to learn data mining skills/techniques using various database systems. This includes willingness to develop in expertise in both elaborate Access Database and Excel skills, and “mining” and exporting data from warehouse environments and maintaining new databases. 3. Ability to communicate results and concepts clearly and concisely in oral and written formats, including effectively illustrating technical points. 4. High level of enthusiasm both for learning new job skills and for working on a wide variety of projects. Problem solver, curious, self-starter, enjoy new challenges and learning new methods and skills, highly flexible, must be able to juggle a variety of projects and priorities. 5. Ability to identify and prioritize tasks, to carry out assignments from start to finish, and ability to promptly ask for help when stuck on a project. 6. Must enjoy working as team member and have interpersonal skills, including the willingness to effectively deal with conflict in the workplace. 7.
