Financial Aid Counselor/Technical Specialist

Description: King University is accepting applications for the position of Financial Aid Counselor/Technical Specialist.

Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required, along with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and PowerFaids Financial Aid software.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CAMS Administrative software.

Responsibilities: This position will assist the Director of Financial Aid in administering the University’s Financial Aid program by utilizing University resources to maximize enrollment while maintaining full compliance with all Federal, State, and University regulations, policies, and procedures. This individual will interact with co-workers, faculty, staff, students and their families, Federal loan lenders and guarantee agencies, the Department of Education, high school counselors, other financial administrators, and the community to provide efficient Financial Aid services. In addition, this individual will serve as a Technical Specialist with originating, disbursing and balancing of all Title IV, TN State and institutional aid programs for the Financial Aid office.
