By accepting the role of Financial Advisor – EU Programmes, you will join a team of 14 people within the International Development Department.
Missions
The role of Financial Advisor – EU Programmes involves
providing administrative and budgetary management for European projects coordinated within the I² BU, ensuring compliance with the financial and contractual rules specific to European programmes;
contributing to the financial management of other European projects of the I² BU in which hub is involved as a partner;
providing support to the activities of the Agency’s Finance Business Unit, depending on needs and workload. This support can cover various cross-functional financial and administrative tasks, contributing to the smooth running of the Finance BU and the continuity of the Agency’s activities.

Exclusive criteria
You have a Master’s degree, preferably in the field of economics (Economics, Management, etc.);
If you obtained your diploma abroad, please send us its equivalence recognised by one of the communities of the Belgian State;
You have 3 years’ professional experience in financial management acquired through the management of European projects funded by Horizon Europe or the Digital Europe Programme, and you are familiar with their cost eligibility rules;
You are proficient in at least one of the two official languages (French/Dutch) with a willingness to learn the second
;
You are proficient in English, the language of contractual documents and written and oral interactions with members of partner consortia;
You are prepared to travel for short periods, mainly in Europe.
Additional criteria
Knowledge of project funding programmes managed directly by the European Commission, in particular Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, and the Single Market Programme;
Ability to manage all administrative and financial aspects of coordinating or participating in European projects, at all stages of the project cycle: proposal preparation, budget execution, follow-up, monitoring and audit preparation.
Offer
A permanent contract funded by European funds, initially part-time (80%) with the possibility of extending to full-time as soon as possible.
A gross salary according to the grade A101 ABAE scales;
