Job Duties & Responsibilities
Accounting
- Vendor Invoices and Payments via check / ACH / Wire
- American Express reconciliations
- Monthly Employee Expense submissions
- Process semi-monthly (salary) and biweekly payroll (hourly) for 70+ exempt and non-exempt employees
Human Resources
- Manage the company’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Career Inbox
- Post and track job ads
- Interview scheduling and follow ups
- Complete reference checks
- Prepare, send, and track receipt of HR Documents, Offer Letters, and Contracts
- Employee Relations:
- Act as the first point person for HR queries
- Investigate complaints brought forward by employees
- Oversee, coordinate, track, and manage employee absences
- New Hire Orientation & Introduction to all Employees
- Oversight of probationary periods, including scheduling check-ins
- Promotions, appraisals, dismissals and resignations
- Coordination & Administration of Company Benefits
- Partner with external benefits advisors and answer employee inquiries related to benefits and leave management
- Assist in the administration of our 401K plan, and any future equity process including creating vesting schedules, assigning and distributing grants
- Participate in the development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and ongoing reports for company requirements
- Maintain and Redevelop company Handbook by partnering with PEO’s HR/ Benefit team to ensure compliance
- Maintain organized and up-to-date personnel files to ensure compliance with all required statutory concerns and regulations
General
- Perform market/industry research as needed
- Ensure compliance with local and national regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and procedures when necessary
- Protect all information in line with legal regulations and maintaining confidentiality and trust.
- Protect the interests of employees and the company in accordance with company Human Resources policies and governmental laws and regulations
- Interact with all company personnel in a pleasant, helpful, and courteous manner
- Maintain the highest levels of professionalism and confidentiality at all times
Requirements
Knowledge & Skills
- Excellent in Microsoft Excel/ Office/ Word
- Excellent written and verbal English.
- Focused with strong attention to detail
- Ability and willing to learn new systems
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist
- Related certifications are a plus
Pay Range: $70,000 – $85,000 full-time salary (based on experience & qualifications)
