Lancaster University Students’ Union provides excellent services and opportunities to support and inspire our diverse population of over 15,000 students to make the most of their experiences at University. With students at the very heart of all we do, we are looking for a Finance Co-ordinator as part of a strong and supportive wider team.
Lancaster University Students’ Union is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee. The charity wholly owns two trading subsidiaries; LUSU Housing Ltd and LUSU Services Co. Ltd.
As Finance Co-ordinator, you will report to the Management Accountant. You and the team will support the preparation of financial information for departments across the Group and improving collaboration across the business in order to provide financial expertise and business partnering. You will also be involved in maintaining a strong financial control culture across the Group.
You will have significant experience working in finance and with good knowledge of double entry book keeping. We are looking for an individual who will assist the Management Accountant further digitalise our finance office in line with our sustainability focus.
You will be flexible, able to work to deadlines, prioritise work effectively and adept at multi-tasking.
Due to the nature of the post, you will be required to work on campus.
