You will be the trusted scientific partner, responsible for translating medical affairs strategies into country-specific tactics. With 50% of your time dedicated to customer-facing interactions, you will collaborate closely with Leading Specialists, contributing to the advancement of treatment trends and scientific innovations in haematology. This position offers the opportunity to impact patient outcomes, provide operational support for CAR-T treatments, and work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a scientific authority in the CAR-T/Hematology therapeutic area, participating in congresses, education events, and scientific discussions with experts.
- Build and grow strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing medical expertise and insights to internal and external partners.
Support and execute the Medical Affairs Plan (MAF) by planning and implementing MSL activity plans in collaboration with the Country Value Team (CVT).
- Act as a backup for the CAR-T Cell Center Manager, supporting cell journey logistics, patient enrollment, and other operational tasks.
Provide scientific training to internal teams and act as a medical speaker for educational workshops, seminars, and programs.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to review promotional materials and contribute to scientific and medical presentations.
Lead medical projects and contribute to clinical studies, real-world data projects, and early access programs.
- Ensure compliance with J&J Credo and Health Care Compliance guidelines, managing safety reporting and other regulatory requirements.
QualificationsEducation:Medical doctor, pharmacist, or a degree in biomedical sciences (MD preferred).Experience and skills Required:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience within Medical Affairs or equivalent clinical/academic experience.
- Strong understanding of scientific research, clinical trial design, and the ability to interpret and translate data into relevant insights.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage in scientific discussions on a peer-to-peer level.
- Proficient in English and German.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in the therapeutic area of CAR-T or haematology.
- Experience working in a cross-functional team with a customer-centric approach.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance guidelines within the pharmaceutical industry.
Other
- Travel: 50% of the time is customer-facing, with some national travel.
- Location: Office-based and has a proportion of min. 50% of external customer interactions
