The salary range for this role is:

$22.75 – $22.75

Responsibilities:

The Seasonal Field Assistant/Farm Shop provides repairs and preventative maintenance to harvesters and Dumpcarts during the summer harvest season, June-October. This position will also be responsible for learning and developing the knowledge skill and ability to provide the raw product necessary for the green/wax bean Vegetable processing seasons from the Central Sands production area and ensure that quality raw product enters the plant.

• Maintaining and repairing and overhauling harvesting equipment and vehicles.
• May supervise and train seasonal workforce.
• DMPS involvement and participation.
• Organizing and scheduling work with minimum direction from supervisor.
• Executing work assignments without close supervision.
• Complete work assignments on time.
• Communicate in writing and orally with proficiency.
• Follow and comply with all safety rules and regulations.
• Assist other in section, when necessary.
• Forward thinker and innovator. Understand key financial indicators and how day-to-day decisions impact the bottom line and other parts of the organization.
• Solution Oriented – work to overcome obstacles or roadblocks always working to resolve in a positive manner. Overcome challenges or obstacles even when it means choosing the hard right over the easy wrong.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Previous farm shop experience required.
