Participates in the development, implementation and administration of Early Childhood Services and Community Partnership Services for enrolled families. Monitors program staff to ensure quality services, integrated program systems and compliance with program standards.
DUTIES

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Analyzes and evaluates family and community engagement services to ensure performance standards are being met.
Creates and implements program events and activities that inform key stakeholders about Early Childhood Services and Family and Community Partnership Services.
Analyzes all family partnership agreements and family needs assessments.
Works with appropriate staff to ensure implementation of the family engagement and school readiness plans.
Acts as CII’s representative for the purposes of developing community partnerships and supporting family engagement according to the Head Start Act, California Department of Education, and Head Start Performance Standards.
Collaborates with education staff and Family Service Workers in the coordination of program volunteer activities and monitors participants to ensure that program guidelines are being followed.
Establishes memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with essential community partners/agencies and coordinates updating MOUs on an annual basis.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
Works with Family Service Workers and Home Visitors to ensure proper Policy Council representation. Other duties and special projects as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the direct reports.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
This job supervises 5-8 Family Service Workers.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
1-2 years of social work, or community-based program experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Family Services or related field from a four-year university required.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Possesses a valid driver’s license and state-required auto insurance or reliable transportation depending on business needs.
Required to travel extensively (> 50% of the time).
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Spanish / English bilingual preferred.
Ability to handle confidential information.
Maintains patient privacy, including protecting the confidentiality, safeguarding the integrity and availability, and limiting the use and disclosure of patient Protected Health Information (PHI) to authorized individuals and entities.
Participates in, conducts, and sustains performance quality improvement activities according to designated role and responsibilities.
Sensitivity to service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Punctual and dependable attendance.

Must have basic knowledge of computer programs in a Windows environment, including Word, Excel and E-mail.

COMPENSATION:
$26.75 USD – $32.10 USD
In accordance with California law, the expected pay range for this position is included in this posting. The actual compensation will be determined based on factors permitted by law. New hires will be offered a salary at the starting point of the range to maintain internal inequity and allow opportunity for future salary growth. CII salaries are determined based on comprehensive internal and external market analysis, as well as the skills, education, and experience relevant to each position.
