Job duties will include planning and carrying out research projects, helping to educate students, ie. Masters and Ph.D. candidate levels). This candidate will be expected to collaborate with our Orthopaedic Residents and Sports Medicine Fellows on these research projects. This candidate will write weekly progress reports on assigned projects. This candidate will be expected to publish at least one peer-reviewed manuscript and one book chapter during their stay and present his work at a national conference. This candidate will also participate in the sports medicine academic curriculum.

This candidate will benefit from participating in the academic curriculum. This candidate will learn real research methodology and strategy in one-on-one meetings with her mentor, Professor Volker Musahl.  This candidate will have an opportunity to observe orthopaedic surgical procedure and clinical protocols.  This candidate will learn the strategies of grant writing and will be able to present and defend scientific presentations.
