Summary of Job Duties:
The University of Arkansas Community College at Hope-Texarkana is a growing educational
institution seeking dynamic, engaging individuals for full time instructor positions. Successful
candidates will be well organized, punctual, reliable, team oriented, and will motivate students.
They will possess the ability to interact positively with diverse groups of individuals, possess
strong communication skills, and have the ability and willingness to use advanced technology.
They will have a passion for teaching, and a genuine desire to serve students and the workforce.
The University of Arkansas Community College at Hope-Texarkana is accepting applications for
a Full-time Psychology Instructor for the 2022-2023 academic year, beginning January 3, 2022.
Duties:
• Teach college-level psychology courses.
• Serve as an academic advisor.
• Work closely with Social Science faculty, dean, tutoring staff, and other College
personnel to promote student success.
• Serve on department and university committees.
• Participate in professional development.
• Willingness to teach at Hope and/or Texarkana campuses, or online.
• Night and weekend duties may be required.
Qualifications:
Masters degree with 18 graduate hours in Psychology required. Teaching experience in this area is preferred.

Salary Information:
Base $36,000. Commensurate with education and experience.
