The Radiation Oncology department of the Keck School of Medicine is seeking an outstanding Faculty Affairs Coordinator to join our team.

Job Accountabilities: 

  • The Faculty Affairs Coordinator will to the Program Manager for the department. The selected candidate should be familiar with appointments and promotions at the University of Southern California and the various designations of the Keck School of Medicine.  Among other duties, the Faculty Affairs Coordinator will review dossiers, host review meetings, and oversee the faculty appointment, promotions and reappointment process. In addition to the Faculty Affairs tasks, this candidate will also assist with other HR related tasks for staff as needed.

Successful Candidates Must Demonstrate:

  • Working knowledge of the appointments and promotion process
  • Customer service mentality to work with 35+ faculty members 

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum Experience: 1 year Minimum Field of Expertise: Ability to receive supervision and guidance. Working knowledge of faculty employee life cycle. Highly organized. Experienced in Microsoft Office. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
