Facilities Coordinator

We are seeking a Facilities Co-ordinator within the Campus Infrastructure team at the University of Bath, the Times and Sunday Times University of the Year 2023. 

About the role

This is a varied role, we are seeking to recruit an eager, motivated individual to join our small team.

The Facilities Co-ordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the vehicle fleet, CAZ (Clear Air Zone) and the pest control contract for the University.

This role is offered on a permanent and full time basis of 36.5 hours per week. Hours of working will fall between 08:00 and 18:00, to be worked flexibly as required by operational needs, Monday to Friday. Part time working is also possible (minimum 29.2 hours per week). 

About you: 

To succeed in this role you will have experience of:

  • A Facilities support role
  • Contract administration and management
  • Fleet management

Plus

  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent customer service, administration and communication skills
  • Ability to use own initiate and problem solve
  • Be able to prioritise workload in a reactive environment

The Department of Estates (now Campus Infrastructure) is a large, diverse and busy department covering the development, maintenance and upkeep of the buildings and estate.
