Experienced Overnight Merchandiser in Vancouver, British Columbia

MCA is a leading Canadian Merchandising Company providing services to Retailers and Consumer Packaged Goods companies across Canada. We specialize in merchandising, sales, price collection, retail audits, retail store renovations, and more.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Work alongside a team of experienced retail professionals to support our clients and partners through store resets in the Greater Vancouver Area. Gain valuable Merchandising experience and be part of new and exciting projects throughout the year.

WAGE: $20/hr: Full-Time (40 Hours per week)

SHIFTS: Sunday from 5:00PM to 1:30AM and Monday to Thursday from 8:00PM to 4:30AM

DATES: ASAP to July 20th

LOCATIONS: Surrey, Buraby, and Maple Ridge, BC

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a crucial part of our Retail Services unit, you will work closely with our Team Lead as part of the Merchandising team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Resetting store departments according to planograms.

  • Building several different endcaps and retail displays.

  • Installing new price tags and signage throughout the store.

  • Moving, and building/placing small retail store fixtures.

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are seeking reliable, safety-conscious individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy working collaboratively. The ideal candidates should possess a strong work ethic, be dependable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a team. Additionally, candidates should be organized and maintain a professional and calm demeanor.

  • At least one year of merchandising and planogram experience.

  • Experience working in a retail environment is preferred.

  • Previous experience working with planograms in a big box store is an asset.

  • Possesses the ability to efficiently follow instructions.

  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail skills.

  • Ability to adapt to change and manage time effectively.

  • Physically fit, able to lift up to 40lbs, and perform continuous standing, bending, reaching, and lifting for long periods.
