NIE invites suitable applications for the position of Executive, Research Integrity & Ethics Support. This is a 2-year contract position.
Responsibilities
- Support the administration of research and academic integrity and ethics practices and policies.
- Manage and maintain communication and documents for research and academic integrity and ethics matters.
- Organize meetings including scheduling, invitations, note-taking, and follow up on matters arising.
- Collate information on research ethics applications and research integrity matters and prepare reports for university management.
- Track policy changes, highlight updates, support revision and distribution of documents based on new policies.
- Design infographics on research integrity and ethics for the university community on a regular basis.
- Assist with any other duties as and when assigned and provide work coverage where necessary.
- Support School Academic Integrity Officer as needed (e.g. organize meetings, take notes).
- Support Dean ASD in events for NIE Director’s Office.
Requirements
- A Polytechnic Diploma.
- Preferably with 2 years of working experience in office management.
- Possess good writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to communicate professionally and work with faculty and staff across various administrative units.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Able to maintain high standards of confidentiality of sensitive materials.
- Able to monitor compliance in policies and uphold governance of policies.
- Able to work independently and as a team.
- Able to learn fast and multi-task in a fast paced environment and provide timely responses to stakeholders.
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of MS Office applications (especially in Excel) and willingness to learn or use new IT software and applications as and when required.
- Able to design infographics with quick turnaround.

NIE staff can take chartered buses at their own expense from or near their home to the NIE campus. This is subject to the availability of seats.
