An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and proactive individual, with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for providing a high level of service, to join the professional services team in the School of Law as an Executive Officer (Events and Communications). The role is fixed-term until 30 September 2023 to cover a member of staff who is currently on maternity leave.
The role will lead the Events and Communications Team, is responsible for providing high quality support in the School of Law and the Human Rights Centre. You will supervise a team in the planning and delivery of various internal and external communications (such as the School’s Blogs, marketing materials, social media platforms and web updates) and events (such as our Human Rights Centre Summer School, student trips and the annual Law and Human Rights Lectures).
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and time management skills, and a commitment to customer service. This role would suit an experienced administrator, with exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, with a flexible approach to work. Experience of line management is desirable.
A job share arrangement for this role can be considered. Please note that continuation of a job share arrangement is dependent on there being two people available to undertake the arrangement.
