The Tech Policy Design Centre (TPDC) is a nonpartisan, independent research organisation, within the ANU College of Law at the Australian National University (ANU). TPDC’s mission is to develop fit-for-purpose tech policy frameworks to shape technology for the long-term benefit of humanity. We are reimagining how governance shapes technology.
At the Design Centre we co-design implementation-ready solutions. We conduct research and foster public debate in collaboration with industry, academia, civil society and government. The Opportunity
In this busy and varied role, you will support our Director to stay on top of a busy schedule, as well as working closely with our energetic, collaborative team to ensure that they are organised and able to excel. Your excellent planning and organisational capabilities, along with your calm flexible nature and effective communication skills will see you thrive on managing the multiple tasks within the role.
The Executive Assistant plays a key role in supporting day-to-day scheduling and operations of the Tech Policy and Design Centre and is the first point of contact for the Director. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised professional with sound experience in executive support or administration, preferably with experience in secretariat support, diary management, and coordination of office administration. The successful applicant will have a flexible nature and effective written/verbal communication skills, will be able to work in a busy varied role and proactively resolving conflicting demands and commitments whilst staying on top of a busy schedule.
