Who are we looking for?

Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is seeking an Executive Assistant
to join Office of the Executive Dean, Faculty of Health, Academic Division.

The Executive Assistant supports the Executive Dean, providing high level administrative support in a complex and fast-paced environment.

The role leads the delivery of high quality, client-focused service, proactively identifying and developing opportunities for improvement within the Executive Dean’s Office.

About the Faculty

The Faculty of Health is led by the Executive Dean and the Executive Management Team comprising the Deputy Dean, Heads of Schools, and other senior faculty staff. Each of the Schools within the Faculty is established around disciplines that promote integration and collaboration in teaching and research, and provide a sustainable foundation upon which to build areas of strength. What you need to succeed

To thrive in this role, you will be someone who enjoys taking the initiative to provide excellent service and support across a broad range of activities each day.

You will demonstrate:

  • Education, training and/or experience equivalent to completion of a degree combined with relevant work experience, or extensive experience in an Executive Assistant capacity.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and work efficiently with multiple competing deadlines and minimal supervision.
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to write and edit a diverse range of high-quality materials.
  • Highly developed digital literacy skills including advanced experience in the use of the Microsoft suite of products, with the ability to quickly adapt to other products and technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply reasoning, judgement and analytical skills in resolving issues in a complex environment.

    Remuneration: $96,955 to $104,981 pa (HEW6) (inclusive of $81,928 to $88,710 pa salary, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)
