Events Project Lead at Copenhagen School of Entrepreneurship

Are you passionate about the power of events and activations to connect with and empower future entrepreneurs?

Copenhagen School of Entrepreneurship (CSE) at Copenhagen Business School is searching for a Community and Events Project Lead to deliver a range of activations and signature events for the CBS community and entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Working across all programs at CSE, the project lead will project manage the physical touchpoints that students, the academic community and broader ecosystem have with our programs, which reflect our commitment to transformational entrepreneurship. Projects include: Intro Week campaign, event managing Demo Day, coordinating, and delivering community events and representing CSE at ecosystem events.

You are:

  • Passionate about creating meaningful experiences and interactions through events, activations and community initiatives.
  • Interested in entrepreneurship and the broader innovation ecosystem.
  • Experienced in events, programs and presentations, including considerations such as occupational health and safety, budgeting and project planning of live events.
  • 2-4 years’ experience in the events field.
  • A problem solver who works well independently and is energised operating in unusual or undefined problem spaces.
  • A dynamo when it comes to technology to enable hybrid events, proficient in software such as teams, zoom, the Microsoft suite, adobe and audio-visual equipment.
  • Organised and diligent about documenting plans and processes, in addition to communicating them well with others.

Tasks will include

  • Project managing the Intro Week campaign, which includes on-campus activations, a roster of class presentations (to be delivered by staff) and events.
  • Event management of signature events such as Demo Day, Open Innovation X, Internship launch and graduation, CBS Startup and Digital Tech Summit. Tasks encompass venue hire, managing guest lists, catering, event run sheets, briefing and evaluation.
  • Event delivery of community touchpoints: founder dinners, pitch and pitchers, roundtables, hackathons and major workshops.
  • Developing, iterating, and presenting educational experiences at CSE and in CBS classrooms
  • Stakeholder liaison with campus services for events
  • Coordinating with communications to spread the word about CSE events
  • Delivering academic activities as part of the Open Entrepreneurship research spin-out project.

What you should bring

The role requires you to have stellar communication skills, as you are often required to independently communicate and cooperate with various people. It also requires you to have good IT skills, and English language skills.

Conditions of employment
This is a fulltime role situated in Frederiksberg. Visa sponsorship will not be possible for this position.
