The Tom Love Innovation Hub opened in September 2016 with the mission to advance innovation and entrepreneurship at the University of Oklahoma and across the state. In November 2020, the Innovation Hub launched OU Startup Programs, an organization designed to foster and grow entrepreneurial development at the University of Oklahoma. Purposed with creating good companies and exceptional founders, OU Startup Programs supports entrepreneurs at critical stages of development, providing guidance and resources to carry entrepreneurs from ideation to testing to funding. Its programs are open to University of Oklahoma students and affiliates (i.e., alumni, faculty, staff, and other partners).
Startup Programs has an opening for an Events Coordinator on the OU Startup Programs team. This position plays an important role in partnership development with internal and external groups, as well as supporting Startup Programs’ and the Innovation Hub’s numerous events (e.g., Startup Meetups, Startup Demo Days, the Startup Venture Competition, and other conferences and events that occur from time to time).
The Events Coordinator will support event planning and execution for Startup Programs, including: preparing event and other promotional materials’ communicating with various partners and vendors; engaging in outreach; and coordinating day-of event operations. This position will report to the Startup Programs Director.

Required Education: Must be currently enrolled in the current Fall 2022 Term as a student at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
