| Work Schedule | 40 hours per week. The incumbent in this position is required to have a regularly flexible schedule to accommodate events schedule, including nights and weekends. Occasional holiday work required. This position is designated as mandatory staff during adverse weather or emergency events and, when contacted to report to work, the employee is expected to reach the campus as quickly as possible using normal precautions as dictated by adverse weather conditions. In the event of an area disaster, the Student Activity Center may be designated as an emergency shelter or for emergency operations. |
| Primary Purpose of Position | Performs a range of student services including coordinating event and meeting logistics for the department as well as providing invoicing and tracking of event satisfaction. Serves as Event Manager for designated events within Venue Management spaces. Assists in the hiring, training, and supervision of student event staff. Also supervises contracted event staff and medical personnel when deemed necessary. |
| Minimum Education/Experience | Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. University Preferred Qualifications: Graduation from a four-year college or university; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. |
