| Minimum Position Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree and two years of appropriate experience. A valid driver’s licenses is required. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. |
| Special Conditions | This is a Limited Position contingent upon funding availability. The department is especially interested in candidates with experience in an Event Management software. |
| Work Schedule | Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m – 4:30 p.m. Frequently works/travels beyond normal work schedule. |

Job Duties
| Duties & Responsibilities | Process reservation requests in EMS with accurate data entry and thorough information about meetings and events-to include description, accurate date and time entry, set-ups and audio visual needs. |

| Duties & Responsibilities | Assist all internal and external clients with reservation and space inquirers and EMS trouble-shooting. |

| Duties & Responsibilities | Serve as the main contact for assigned internal and external clients, coordinating client’s bookings, managing event details, and communicating University policies and procedures as necessary. |

| Duties & Responsibilities | Ensure client satisfaction through fostering clear and constructive communications with clients and assist with selecting appropriate service vendors and departments such as food services, campus police, parking, etc. to ensure that service capabilities and client expectations are consistent. |

| Duties & Responsibilities | Prepare client Banquet Event Orders (BEO), confirmations and post-event follow up and customer evaluations. Ensure all vendor invoices are submitted to accounting and paid. |

| Duties & Responsibilities | Consult with and advise full-service clients, including the International Cotton Institute, on matters of program format, venue options, and budget/registration fees. Manage full-service client budgets, including cost estimates, internal accounting controls and reconciliation procedures. Track time allocated to client programming and other related activities. |
