Anderson University’s College of Business invites applications for an Event Coordinator. The Event Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and execution of programs developed in conjunction with corporate initiatives, certification programs and mini conferences for the College of Business (COB). The Event Coordinator serves as the primary contact for internal and external constituents of the COB, always offering a high level of hospitality by creating a warm, welcoming, and informative environment. Key responsibilities include collaborating with Conference Services, Campus Safety and other internal departments on all events, coordinating marketing and promotional materials, establishing registration details, assigning and managing volunteers, and handling all event logistics. Additionally, the Event Coordinator with assist with COB student club/organization events.

Knowledge equivalent to that gained through a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Event/Hospitality Management with two or more years of office related experience preferred. Strong Microsoft Office skills and database software required. Knowledge of web-design software preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills and exceptional organizational and time management skills, with keen attention to detail required. Ability to work well independently and within a team essential.
