This position serves as the evaluation project manager for a youth-led initiative that promotes healthy behaviors (Youth Action for Health Leadership) and serves as an evaluation team member for other healthy lifestyle initiatives. The evaluation project manager develops project plans, identifies major milestones, and ensures successful outcomes.
Evaluators on this team work shoulder to shoulder with partners at other state agencies, consultants, and grantees across the state to improve the health and well-being of Oklahomans, primarily in the areas of tobacco use, physical activity, and nutrition. Evaluators assess the impact of the policies, systems, and environmental changes implemented in the effort to achieve better health outcomes for Oklahomans. The evaluation team develops and implements process and outcome plans that support equity, improve programs, yield actionable results, and measure the impact of public health programs. Data and evaluation expertise are used to help professionals implementing programs and partners funding programs do it better by providing data that can be used for decision-making and making evaluative judgments about programs.
Duties:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Experience: 60 months experience managing/leading multiple projects.
Equivalent/ Substitution: Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the Bachelor’s degree for a total of 108 months of related experience.
