MAKE YOUR MARKESG Risk Management Expert (f/m/d)How You’ll Make Your MarkYour main tasks in this role are:

  • In this role you will support the further development of the risk management for the international ALDI SÜD Group with a dedicated focus on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) topics
  • You’ll support risk assessment processes within our global Enterprise Risk and Compliance Management Systems
  • In addition, you”ll support with the further integration of the Double Materiality Assessment to determine material sustainability matters in relevant risk management processes for our business
  • Your responsibilities include analyzing and determining the effectiveness of internal control systems in the context of ESG compliance
  • You’ll work on the further integration of 3-Lines Model and the management of interfaces with related risk & compliance management systems
  • You are motivated by the task of developing policies, standards, procedures, controls, and training material within your area of responsibility
  • You”ll provide reports on ESG risks to senior management and supporting with disclosure of risk relevant information
  • Offering expert guidance and advice on ESG risk issues, supporting various teams across the organization complete your field of responsibility

Your ProfileThe requirements of the role include:

  • You have an academic degree in Business, Risk, Finance or a related field
  • As a Risk Management Expert you have at least 3 years of experience in a risk management related function (e.g. Enterprise Risk, ICAAP, Compliance) with additional previous experience working in the field of sustainability
  • You are very familiar with current ESG legislation and implications for risk management
  • An analytical way of thinking and the distinct ability to work on complex issues independently is a matter of course for you
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and cross-functional collaboration abilities set you apart
  • You are fluent in the English language, German would be beneficial
